Mobideo’s Guide™ in international projects involving the deployment of wireless
communication networks.
Guide™ enables Alvarion’s users to manage communication networks deployed
by different subcontractors and work teams. The solution controls tasks,
enables connections to external equipment,
allows the user to take pictures of system components, and document their exact
location, and more.
A unique solution, Guide™ enforces compliance with work procedures while
taking into consideration their order of execution, in accordance with
regulatory requirements.

The Challenge
As a company that installs WiMAX networks around the world, most of Alvarion’s deployments are carried out by local dedicated subcontractors. When installing a new network, Alvarion faces several challenges:

Compliance with technical parameters frequencies, network reach, location of the installation, coverage, and more
Strict acceptance tests and delivery requirements
Manual data collection prevented the company from responding in real time to occurrences in the field and led to inaccuracies in network data following installation
